Happy Resurrection Day!! He is Alive!!

I planted some peppers today :)
My mom called me this morning to ask me if I knew how to make Matzah Bread for communion at her church, so I give her the recipe (2 cups of white flour, 1 cup of wheat flour, 3/4 cup of olive oil, 3/4 of water, 1 teaspoon of salt; mix the dry ingredients first then add the oil, add the oil and knead it into the flour, gradually knead the water into the dough until is no longer sticky. Divide the dough in sizes of an egg and flatten them with a rolling pin until they are about 1/2" thick and put them on a greased baking tray. Cook for 10-15 minutes until crispy, like a dry cracker). Then she called me again later and told me they turned out good :)
My husband came home early, comparing to other days, which is fine and fun, however I was on the middle of finishing my new shoe clips. So I did, finished them and
we prepared dinner. Some small red potatoes with bacon bits garlic and red onions, and meat with fresh rosemary and Mexican sage; and garlic cheese bread. It was a delicious meal! We are full now!
Then, I finally had time to take the pictures of my new "Red Couture Shoe Clips", and post them on my etsy shop (http://sofisticata.etsy.com). I hope you like them :)

My New Addition ;)

After a few days of thinking... its finally here!!
I made this new Shoe Accessory inspired on my Christian Louboutin's Sandals.
A great addition this Spring Season!!
I went to bed at 3:00 am, after working on them for a couple hours. And I was very pleased with the final product!
So this afternoon, after working on my taxes and sending a package to a costumer, I finally had the time to take the pictures!
Then my handsome husband came home from work, and I remembered that I had to cook dinner, so I made a delicious Enchilada Casserole :) And in the time it was baking, I was posting the Elegant Ebony Shoe Clips! To see more, visit: http://sofisticata.etsy.com
By the way, dinner was very good!!
Have a wonderful night~

Spring Time is Here!!!

... and it rain so hard all day! :) But I love the rain, I even went out for a little bit ;) Old memories!
Well, today is Sunday, and it is amazing how sometimes I could have up to 12 kids on Sunday School, and sometimes 2, like today!
When we come back from church, I started to check up my Etsy Shop, for any new convos, and got a few, then I got distracted uploading some pictures, and formatting them, and ignored my regular emails, thinking they might be only spam, after about 2 hours, I finally checked my email, and find out I had an alert from craftcult, telling me that I was featured on Etsy's Front Page again with my Yellow Poufs Shoe Clips Picture on this blog a couple days ago!!! :) I couldn't believe it!!! My husband was just there next to me, so he got exited also ;)
Then, I really got distracted!!! By now, my wonderful husband had made some delicious sandwiches, he is very talented and garnishes everything! I'm very blessed and pampered ;)
Now, everything is quiet, Samson, our little baby boy (he doesn't really know he is a Shih-Tzu dog, and not a human, so don't tell him ;) and my handsome husband are asleep, its my time to design, my head is full of ideas, I couldn't sleep until almost 5 am this morning thinking about these clips... and finally, the fabric is on my lap, and I'm ready to bring them to life!!
I just have to make one last stop to the kitchen and make me a "bionico" is a Mexican Snack, which contains: yogurt (I'm using pina colada, mmm), granola, fresh fruit (I'm adding strawberries, blue berries, mango, pineapple, cantaloupe and coconut, and a little bit of condense milk for sweetness, I add honey instead, more figure friendly, lol. Too bad you are on the other side of the screen!!
Have a good night!

Happy Tuesday!

Hi,

I just finished posting my new Pompous Yellow Feather Pouf Shoe Clips, here is the picture, however you could see more in here: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=42854900. I made them last night, and took the pictures this morning, since it is a gorgeous day outside!

Now, I'm getting ready to cook for my husband, I'm making a "Spinach Tartlet" with lots of cheese and some bacon bits. Very simple, delicious and easy to make... and inexpensive!

I use one Pillsbury rolled pie crust, and follow directions, then for the filling: 1 cup of ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1 block of Philadelphia cream cheese softened, 1 lb frozen spinach towed and drained, 1/2 cup of bacon bits, garlic powder, and salt. Mix everything and pour over the pie crust, then bake 350 F for about 20 min or until golden. Enjoy!

What I did today!...

We had our Andrew Sunday at Church, which means that after our Sunday morning service, we all have dinner at our fellowship hall. I cooked Chinese Rice, because is my Pastor's favorite, and it was his birthday :) and "Tinga" Mexican Pulled Pork Dish, and it was a success!

When we came home, my husband took a few pictures of one of my new designs "Easter Flower" which I'm posting tomorrow at my shop, http://sofisticata.etsy.com/ you are seen it first!

Then, Samson and I took a nap!

I get up, and made my first Blog :) and here I am... telling you about me and my day!
